Jetboat on a wild river to Spencer Glaciers calving face to see icebergs fill the lake on this one of a kind adventure. Jetboats were designed to navigate the glacier waters of New Zealand and are perfectly suited to run the extreme rivers of Alaska. Spencer Glacier jetboating adventures start from the Placer Overflow parking area along the Seward Highway where we outfit you with personal flotation devices for the upriver cruise. Stunning mountain, river and glacier scenery surrounds as the river twists and turns through braided, rapid and rocky sections. Entering Spencer Lake reveals massive icebergs where we jet up for a closer view. Cruise by the glaciers face to look and listen as Spencer Glacier drips, moans and calves. The return trip is just as exciting as we gain the rivers speed trough the twists and turns.
Andy and crew took us through the true Alaskan backcountry, with a final stop at the Spencer Glacier. The magnitude of the glaciers cannot be captured with photos or videos and made the experience worth every penny. They provided us with all the proper gear, hot chocolate and snacks. If we ever make it back to Alaska, we will go again

The machines were in pretty decent shape and held up to our novice driving. In addition, Andy was very patient as we crashed a few times! The booking process was easy and Andy did good job communicating info to us before we arrived. Overall, a great experience and would do again!
