Whitewater Rafting

Multi-sport Alaskan adventure at its finest, whitewater rafting on Glacier Creek and rainforest hiking! Access on the Iditarod Trail is key to unlocking the excitement, remote non-stop rapids and mysteries of Glacier Creek Gorge.

Transport back in time along the historic dirt and forested Crow Creek Road headed to Glacier Valleys Four Corners. Hiking a mile down the Winner Creek Trail accesses the cable-hand-tram crossing Glacier Creek. Gear up in drysuits, wetsuit booties, vests and helmets for rafting Glacier Creek’s fast turns and non-stop class II-III action in paddle rafts with your guide navigating.

Waterfalls tumbling into the canyon add to the mountain and glacier views while whitewater rafting back to Girdwood and Alyeska. This adventure highlights the best of Alaska in an active, exciting and eco-friendly loop.

Sourdough Circuit  ~  Rafting, Hiking & Goldpanning at Crow Creek Mine  ~ Listed on the National Register of Historic Places take a guided tour of the original mine buildings with your local guide.  Head to the creek for and introduction to goldpanning and finding guaranteed gold.
